A. A physical combination of two or more things. There are two types of mixtures. There is a homogeneous and heterogeneous mixture. A mixture differs from a compound, because a compound is made by a chemical reaction and a mixture is made by a physical reaction. Some common mixtures are water(H2O), sugar(C6H12O6),and carbon dioxide(CO2).

2. What is a solution?

A. A solution is when one substance dissolves in another.

3. What are the parts of solution?

A. The parts of solutions are the solvent and the solute.

4. What is a solvent?

A. The solvent does the dissolving

5. What is solute?

A. The solute gets dissolved.

6.What is a solubility?

A.A maximum amount of solute that has been given by an amount of solvent that could be dissolved.
